What this website knows about you.
Short version: almost nothing, and we are not interested in knowing more. Here is the honest detail.
This site sets no cookies
None. We checked, and you can check too: open your browser's developer tools, look at storage, and you will find nothing. No cookies, no local storage, no session storage, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags, no social media embeds.
That is why there is no cookie banner on this site. Under UK rules a consent banner exists to ask permission to store things on your device. We do not store anything on your device, so there is nothing to ask permission for, and putting a pop-up in your way to tell you that would be silly.
We do count visits
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It tells us how many people visited, which pages they looked at, roughly which country they came from, and how fast the pages loaded. It does not follow you around the internet, it does not build a profile of you, and it does not identify you.
We use it for one reason: to find out whether anything we make is worth making. If nobody reads a page, we stop writing that kind of page.
If you email us
Mail to [email protected] is forwarded to the founder's inbox. We keep it so we can reply and so the next person running Future Billionaires knows what was said. We do not add you to a mailing list, because we do not have one.
If you join the WhatsApp community
That happens on WhatsApp, not here, and WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy apply once you are there. In the community announcement group your phone number is hidden from other members, and visible to admins and to anyone who already has you saved.
You can leave at any time and nobody will ask you why.
What we never do
- Sell anything about you, to anyone, for any reason.
- Run advertising or advertising trackers.
- Share what we have with a third party for their own purposes.
- Ask for more than we need. There is no sign-up form on this site on purpose.
Asking us to stop, or asking what we hold
Email [email protected] and a person will read it. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or object to us counting your visit. We will do it, and we will not make it difficult.
Future Billionaires is a student community at Loughborough University in the United Kingdom. It is not a registered company and it has no membership fee, no committee and no constitution.
